If we've ever hung out, you would probably expect to see me in flip flops, moccasins, or my favorite leather slouch boots from Vietnam.  I'm just not a heel girl.  But there's something so sweet about slipping on an amazing pair of gorgeous bejeweled shoes.  They make you feel sexy.  Even if you're wearing an old tshirt and jeans that you rolled up in the dressing room so you could see how awesome your legs look in these heels.

The red ones are definitely my favorite... they remind of Dorothy's shoes in The Wizard of Oz, which just happens to be one of my favorite childhood movies (right alongside Troop Beverly Hills, The Little Mermaid, and Back to the Future (yes.))  I absolutely looove the contrast of brightly colored shoes against a white wedding dress... it's like candy to a photographer :)

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely and talented Jessica + Vicki, who own Elbow Room Interiors in Coronado.  After checking out the before and afters on their website, I wish I had a huge house so I could have them redecorate it :)  Check out these stylish and talented ladies...

The trendy blonde in these photographs is Gina, the accessory-maker extraordinaire behind Acute Designs, a local Etsy seller.  Gina sells hand made head bands, hair pins, rings, earrings, and shoe clips.  Her design inspiration is vintage, yet trendy at the same time.  And if you're a bride looking for something unique and special for your wedding, she makes custom bridal hair pieces.

Gina is incredibly talented in the kitchen too: she writes a food blog where she shares her own custom recipes, family recipes, and yummy internet finds.  (Gina... I'm awaiting my dinner invite ;-)

I'd like to introduce the lovely and talented Stephanie of Heart of Leadership.  Stephanie's mission is to empower young women to become leaders in their community.  She conducts mentoring sessions, workshops, and leads yoga classes.  And, she's pretty darn photogenic :)
