Hello there!

I'm Anne Elizabeth Martin, the photographer behind ae martin photography (why the "ae" you wonder?  I was tired of everyone asking me if I wrote the Babysitters Club books!)  I live in San Diego, California, but I spend a lot of time in St. Louis and upstate New York.

Simply put, I love photography.  It's my passion.  I get really excited about awesome pictures.  You'll know it when it happens because I just have to show you that one amazing shot on my camera screen.  I'm the girl that goes straight home and loads your pictures onto my computer so I can ooh and ahh over them. The best thing about being a passionate photographer is that it always keeps me on my toes, striving for the coolest angle, the best location, and the sweet light, because I truly want to produce amazing images for you.

Cool vintage stuff, especially the kind that used to belong to someone in my family.
Making Swedish pancakes with goat cheese and honey.
Swimming, boating, and waterskiing.
A good fruity wheat beer like Pyramid Apricot and Lost Coast Tangerine.
Dreaming up things to create, even though I can't really sew.
New York summers, Missouri in the fall, California year round.
Collecting unique jewelry and art on my travels.
Relaxing on my chaise with a good thriller novel.
Getting a freshly printed album back from the lab.
Chocolate Ice Cream.
Singing in the car.
Reading advice columns.
Sleeping in.

Meeting a new person and instantly connecting.

Girls trips with my best friends from college.
The look on a groom's face when he sees his wife for the first time.
